I purchased 3 of these to use my old adapters on my new phone (Motorola Karma). I use one on the home charger, one on my car charger and on one of my data cables I use off-site from my home. These were motorola products and worked perfect as I expected. Had shipping delay problems with the seller, but the product is what I expected, I am able to use my old USB data cable and chargers - didn't have to buy new ones and saved $$.
I have a Palm Pre, and this adapter worked out perfect for me. I've purchased other adapters from Rocket Fish and have been disappointed with the lose connection. I definitely will recommend this adapter to other people.
Rather than buy a ton of new micro USB cables and accessories, I was able to reuse my existing mini USB power adapters and sync cable with my new micro USB phone.Best of all, I can still charge/connect mini USB devices if needed; the best of both worlds.The little string is a nice addition; a good way to prevent loss of this very small cable.
I hate having to buy a new charger and car charger every time I get a new phone. This little adapter save me a ton. Also allows me to use the USB cable to hook up to Micro or Mini-USB devices without changing cables. Works for Droid as well (which I have) I highly recommend this.
There is nothing special about this product except it will save you a lot of $$$$ when you get a new phone. Purchasing this product allowed me to use my old Motorola car charger for my new Palm Pre. It works great, and I saved $$. What more could you ask for at this price.
